Addison / Memorial Day

- Addi upside down -

Today, Addison is 9 months. I can't believe it. She is so sweet. I am still amazed by what she is doing. She has 4 teeth now, (2 top, 2 bottom) and the cutest smile with dimples. She has been crawling for awhile now, but holy cow she is fast. She is trying desperately to keep up with her sister. She is standing and pulling herself up to everything. She has been taking a few steps while holding on to our fingers. Addi likes to play pick -a- boo with Ayden. She says, "mama" and "dada", it is so sweet.

Saturday and Sunday we went to our families graves. The graves look so beautiful this time of year, with all the pretty flowers. We edged and cleaned our Grandparents graves. Some of them looked horrible. Ayden enjoyed helping me scrub the headstones.

Saturday Fun!

Today was such a beautiful WARM day. I need to remember to bring sunblock along. Jon is at the F.D. so we hung out with my family. We went to my niece, Baylee's game, which she did awesome and they won!

G-ma and G-pa were there too. After the game we went to lunch with the whole family, it was fun to hang out. After lunch, Ayden went with G-ma to a birthday party for a good friends daughter, Abi. Ayden had so much fun!! G-ma said she behaved so well. She said Ayden was so polite. (you always hope your kids are good, when your not around). So my Dad, Addi, and I had a little father, daughter, grand-daughter day. We went to Costco, Target, and Wal-mart. Addi was so good:) I always have fun hangin out with my Dad.

Anyway, that was our Saturday. Thanks for the nice day, G-ma & G-pa!

Mother's Day

What a great Mother's Day, I had. We went to dinner with Jon's parents Saturday night. We went to the Olive Garden and came back to our house and gave Jon's Mom her gifts. Ayden had a fun time playing with G-ma and G-pa Fitch. It was so nice to visit with them. We hadn't done that in awhile. We really enjoy spending time with them. They mean so much to us!

Sunday, all of Jon's meetings were cancelled..yahoo! He made me a yummy breakfast. He made french toast with wonderful cinnamon bread from Great Harvest. He gave me a beautiful hanging flower for our yard. Ayden made me a cute flower pot at her Primary activity. Ayden got to sing in sacrament. She was so sweet..even if she didn't sing too much:) My parents surprised me and came to our sacrament meeting. I was so surprised.
We went to my parents Sunday night for a BBQ, which the men did. It was yummy food. We had steak, chicken, salad, chip/dip, veggies, baked potatoes, rolls. And for dessert, homemade cheesecake. We had a great day!

It was such a great Mother's day. Jon and I are so blessed to have our wonderful Mothers. Our Mom's have been the best example of love, patience, and support.
We love our Mom's SO much!!!
I hope all of you had a great day too!!

My lil' gymnast

Ayden has been taking gymnastics for one month. She is taking gymnas. from, Academy West. She loves it so much! Her class is called the "Flippen Frogs!" She is the youngest in her class, but almost the tallest. She goes every Thursday, for one hour. It is amazing after only a month, how she is starting to get pretty flexible.

Yesterday, I took some pictures of her.

She loves her coaches, Heather and Callee. She corrects me everytime I call them a teacher, "Mom, they are my coaches!"
( Sorry,my bad!)

My girls and walking

My girls are so great! I have a 3 mile walk that I love to do. When I only had Ayden, going on my 3 miler was easy. She was always so good in her stroller. A few months ago, (when we were being teased with Spring weather) I decided to try my 3 miler with 2 kids. Addi did really good, in fact she slept. Finally, the weather is acting normal now. I have been walking with both girls for the past few weeks and they both have done great. I was worried at first, but I figured if I keep doing it, Addi will be used to it. She has done awesome too! Thank you girls, you are the best!! BTW, pushing the 2 of them in the double stroller is the best workout for my arms:).
I took this picture with my phone, it turned out ok.
Aren't they so cute?

Only a football game..right?

I don't have too much to blog about. Although, yesterday at Jon's football game there was some excitement. The game was going normal, Jon's team was doing good. They are 3-o. I was playing with Ayden and Addi and trying to watch most of the game. The last quarter I was hardly watching, ( I was trying to rock Addi to sleep in her stroller). When another wife, asked," excuse me, is that your husband they are carrying off ther field?" I said, "probably not, I don't think they could carry Jon off the field."
I looked over and saw someone bent over with a shirt covering his nose. Oh my he** I have never seen a nose bleed so much or look so "jacked" up. I asked the other wife what happened and she said Willy collided with Jordan (who also is on Jon's team). Jordan ran backwards and didn't see Willy and they hit each other. I looked around for Jordan he was wondering around. I asked him if he was ok, his face looked a little swollen, but not bad. He said, "I don't know, I don't know." Not a good sign. You could tell they were in bad shape, besides what they looked like. They kept repeating themselves when they were asked a question and they kept asking what happened.
Willy's wife took him to the ER and Jon's cousin, Jeremy, took Jordan to the ER.
Jeremy called Jon last night to give him an update... Willy: broken nose, concussion, they had to put his nose back into place. OUCH! He also did something to his knee.
Jordan: broke several bones in his face, luckily it will heal on its own, no plates or anything, concussion, and has to see a ENT in a few weeks. Poor guys.
For a flag football game, some pretty bad injuries. Sad thing is, these are injuries that are going to take a long time to heal and they won't be able to go back to work for a few weeks and of course they are out for the season.
Get well and take care guys!
